Day 1: Arrival - Varanasi Sightseeing
A
representative will pick you up from the airport or railway station and take
you to a pre-booked hotel. The rest of the afternoon is free. You can roam
around the place or take up souvenir shopping tours around your hotel.
By evening, you
would be taken to Dashashwamedh ghat to enjoy Ganga AAarti. Ganga AAarti is an
iconic ritual process done on the banks of the river, every evening to please
River Ganges and God of Fire. The ghat will be very crowded during this ritual
and you can choose to hire a boat during the ritual to watch the process from
the river, on a boat.
After Aarti,
you will be taken back to your hotel.
Day 2: Varanasi – Local sightseeing
Before
breakfast, you will be taken on a boat ride on the river Ganges to enjoy the
rising sun, rituals along the side of the river and the ghats. There are 88
ghats in Varanasi and each one is famous for one element. It is not possible to
cruise along all the 88 ghats. The cruise will cover all top ghats. Once you
land on the shore, you will be taken on a temple tour. Early morning is the
right time to visit temples as it is the time of rituals. Top temples chosen
are Kashi Vishwanath temple, Sankat Mochan Hanuman temple, Bharat Mata temple,
Annapurna temple, BHU and Manas Mandir. After the temple tour, you will be
escorted to the hotel for breakfast and rest.
You can take up shopping in Varanasi or go for
sightseeing on your own. Top items to buy in Varanasi are deity statues, brass
works, Banaras silk material, incense items and others. Overnight stay in
Varanasi.
Day 3: Varanasi – Vindhyachal - Varanasi
Day Trip to
visit Vindhyachal trip. Evening return to hotel.
Day 4: Varanasi – Bodh Gaya
After
breakfast, you will be taken on a trip to Bodhgaya, which is 300 km away from
Varanasi. It is 6 hours away from the city and the morning will be spend in
travel. You will be escorted to a pre-booked hotel in Bodhgaya. After lunch,
you will be taken to important attractions like Buddha Statue, Buddha temple,
Bodhi tree and others. Apart from Buddhist pilgrim spots, you will also visit
Janki temple, Ram Chura, Haleshwar Asthan, SitaKund and others. Overnight stay
in Bodhgaya.
Day 5: Bodh Gaya - Varanasi
After
breakfast, you will be taken to Gaya, which is 12 km away from Bodhgaya.
Sightseeing starts immediately and top spots visited are Vishnupad and Vishnu
temples. It is believed that Lord Vishnu’s footprint is found inside the
temple. After lunch, you will be visiting Tibetan temples, Japanese temple,
Phalguna River, Chinese temple and others. By early evening, a road trip to
Varanasi starts. It will be night when you reach Varanasi and the
representative will escort you to a pre-booked hotel in Varanasi. Overnight
stay in Varanasi.
Day 06: Varanasi –Prayagraj - Chitrkoot
After
breakfast, start your drive towards Chitrkoot en route visit Sangam (Meeting
point) of the three rivers - Ganga, Yamuna & Saraswati. Sangam - overlooked
by the eastern ramparts of the fort, wide flood plains and muddy banks protrude
towards the sacred Sangam. At the point at which the brown Ganges meets the
Greenish Yamuna, pandas (priests) perch on small platforms to perform puja and
assist the devout in their ritual ablutions in the shallow waters. Beaches and
ghats are littered with the shorn hair of pilgrims who come to offer pind for
their deceased parents.
Covers the
other spot in Allahabad like Hanuman Temple, Anand Bhavan - one of the
country’s best-running museums in memory of Jawahar Lal Nehru. Later drive
toward Chitrkoot, proceed to embark Ram ghat, Mandakini river, Gupt godavri,
sati anusuya temple, Janki kund or and Hanuman dhara.

Day 07: Chitrkoot - Ayodhya
After
breakfast, we proceed to Ayodhya . Check-in to Hotel. Later full day
sightseeing of Ayodhya City covers visit to Ram Janam Bhumi and take bath in
holy Saryu River. Later visit Hanuman Garhi , Kanak Bhavan , Tulsi Smarak
Bhawan , Sita Ki Rasoi.
Remnants of
Hinduism , Buddhism , Jainism and Islam can still be found in Ayodhya .
According to Jain belief, Tirthankaras were born at Ayodhya, including Adinath
(Rishabhadeva), the 1st tirthankara.

Day 08: Ayodhya – Naimisharanya
Morning drive
to Naimisharanya. Upon arrival sights visit over there. Naimisharanya, it is
the holy place an renowned since the time of Satya Yug or Kreta Yug, the most
ancient times.
It is to
believe that after visiting this sacred place, people can get rid of their
sins. After visiting Naimisharanya, people attain Moksh (liberation) and attain
immense powers.
These all
things and their importance are described in various ancient scriptures of
India. Naimisharanya is also popularly known to as Naimish or Neemsaar or
Neemshaar. Naimisharanya is the birthplace of many puraanas and this place is
the abode of all of the holy places on the earth and to visit only this place
equals visiting all holy places at once.
This evidence
is found in The Mahaabhaarath. Also the renowned saint Goswami Tulasi Das
described about the prominence of Naimisharanya in Raamcharith Maanas. Paying
homage to our forefathers at Naimisharanya satisfies them and any sins done by
us will be removed. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09:
Naimisharanya - Lucknow
After breakfast
in the hotel, you will take up a road trip to Lucknow. Explore the city and the
attractions it holds, Lucknow is an interesting place with great things to
offer. The structures in the city showcase the fine blend of Indo-Islamic and
colonial era. Visit some sites like: Dilkusha Garden, Shah Najaf, Ram Krishna
Math, Moti Mahal, La Martiniere, Chattra Manzil, also visit the old city in the
evening. Spend some time indulging into shopping and trying out some ethnic
dishes. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Departure
After
breakfast, the rest of the morning is free for leisure sightseeing or souvenir
shopping. Later, you will be dropped off at airport or railway station at Lucknow. The trip comes to an end but with a rich
experience.
